"RSPN's outreach now stands at over 4.3 million households. This unfolding of its reach beyond previous limits occurred in the midst of important developments. The USAID funded Small Grants and Ambassador’s Fund Programs, and the Assessment and Strengthening Program successfully carried through their first years. The RSPN implemented Pakistan Domestic Biogas Programme set up its 1000th biogas plant. With new funding from USAID, the RSPN implemented Bahaal project extended its assistance work into the 2011 floods. RSPN finished constructing 33 micro infrastructure projects in flood affected Swat, with funding from the American Pakistan Foundation. A significant national conference on drinking water, sanitation and hygiene promotion was convened by RSPN in partnership with UNICEF and the Planning Commission. These various threads suggest not only the achievements of RSPN and its members RSPs but also future possibilities, for transforming the lives of millions of rural Pakistanis..."
