Support to the Special Project Wing of RSPN
The M&E section also provides technical support to RSPN’s special project wing, in order to secure various consultancy projects and in developing project proposals. In addition to the regular technical support with research assignments, including sampling procedures, methodological issues, the MER section conducts consultancy assignments. Some of the consultancy assignments include:
Designing of Imitational Maturity Index for International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) funded project of NADP and AJKCDEP (March 2008)
Under this assignment, a CO Maturity Index was designed and developed for the IFAD funded projects of Northern Areas Development Project (NADP) and Azad Jamu and Kashmir Community Development Project (AJKCDP).
Evaluation of British High Commission (BHC) funded Open Minds Project (April – May 2010)
RSPN undertook an evaluation of one of the British High Commission (BHC) sponsored project “Open Minds Project”, implemented by Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR) in Pakistan.
The MER section has also facilitated a number of training programmes on monitoring and evaluation tolls for different institutions, including Brock Hospital and Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) Islamabad and Institute of Rural Management (IRM), NRSP.
