The prestigious Asia House, located in Central London, arranged the launch of Shoaib Sultan Khan's book AKRSP: A Journey Through Grassroots Development on Oct 6, 2010. Entry to the event was by tickets at ten pounds apiece.

It proved to be a houseful event which commenced with the showing of first 15 minutes of AKRSP film First Harvest, followed by a speech complemented with PowerPoint slides by Shoaib Sultan Khan. The last segment was Q&A eloquently and elegantly moderated by Sir Nicholas Barrington. The session went on much beyond the allocated time slot and Sir Nicholas had to apply the guillotine.

The audience included David Page of BBC, Journalist Victoria Schofield, David Lockwood of UNDP, Eamoinn Taylor and Tim Hawkins of DFID, Roddy Gow chief executive Asia House, Mrs. Cooper Headmistress St. Hildas and Asif Durrani Pakistan's Deputy High Commissioner. Amongst the guests there were three persons from Gigit-Baltistan and Chitral besides a large number of distinguished personalities.
