Rural Support Programmes (RSPs) Response to 2022 Heavy Rains and Floods Affected Areas of Pakistan
Appeal for Donation
If living in lockdown has you feeling low, meet Hudbar Ali an Agriculture Entrepreneur trained under the European Union in Pakistan-funded Programme for Improved Nutrition in Sindh whose kindness will leave you smiling.
Under normal circumstances, Hudbar Ali would be holding sessions at the Farmer Field School he manages in VO Othwal, Larkana. He’d also be selling the vegetables he had grown on the demonstration plot where he conducts practical sessions on #kitchengardening.
Hudbar realized that families were finding it difficult to afford fresh vegetables, with their breadwinners having been laid off during the #COVID19 outbreak. He also wanted to discourage them from going to the market as part of social distancing to help #flattenthecurve. Instead of selling the brinjal, cauliflower and onion that he harvested as part of his own income, Hudbar divided and distributed them to 30 families in his VO to help them out.
We can’t help but feel so much pride for the communities that #PINS works with who continue to inspire us with their resilience and generosity.
